Examples of Office Installations of Acuity Pro

Acuity Pro Installation 1
Office of Dr. Jerry Carter, Bartlesville, OK

This office has the computer on the floor behind the red toy box and a 17" flat screen monitor mounted on the wall above the computer. The monitor cables go  into a hole in the wall where the mounting bracket is, and down about four feet to the baseboard. There they come out at the floor and connect to the computer.  A long custom made extension cord connect the wired keyboard and mouse to the computer (a wireless radio frequency keyboard and mouse would work just as well without the need for a custom made cable).  The wires are hidden out of the way behind the baseboard of the wall.  The optical distance from phoropter to screen is about 17 feet.

Acuity Pro Installation 2
Office of Sally Freeman, O.D., Rincon, GA

This is a very nice installation in a mirrored lane.  The 17" monitor looks very clean mounted on the wall with all wires hidden.  A laptop drives the system.  The patient looks into a mirror mounted on the wall in front of the exam chair viewing the reversed image on the screen.

Office of Dr. Jerry Wassel, Jarrettsville, MD

This is a very clean setup utilizing a dual monitor system.  The desktop monitor is displaying EyeMaginations while the wall mounted monitor is displaying Acuity Pro.  Both programs are being run from a single computer.  Many doctors are using similar setups having their EMR running on the desktop and Acuity Pro on the secondary monitor.
