The beauty of Acuity Pro is that it can be used on any Windows computer (XP and above). Don’t let others fool you into thinking that your acuity computer needs to be ‘calibrated’ or must have certain obtuse specifications in order to be accurate. Every off the shelf monitor and computer exceeds ANSI and ISO standards for eye charts. Of course, if you have multiple rooms, it would be wise to keep all monitors at the same level of brightness and contrast.
Acuity Pro is an excellent add on to your EMR computer – simply add a dual monitor card, a monitor with wall mount and a cable to connect (wireless video is also available not quite as reliable at this time).

That being said, why do we sell computers? Well, we know how difficult it is to shop through the thousands of computers out there. Basically, we have done all the legwork for you. We have found the best All-In-One computer for Acuity Pro. This computer is easy to wall mount, doesn’t have features you will never use (like a touch screen) and has a proven track record for us. In addition to the computer, we supply the perfect wall mount, and the perfect wireless keyboard and mouse. The Gyration keyboard has a small footprint and is very easy on batteries. The Gyration mouse has an accelerometer like the iPhone, meaning it can be used in the air! This is great when using the mouse cursor as a pointer in Acuity Pro. It’s also handy when working on the computer for adding photos, videos, or doing updates because the computer is on the wall and there usually isn’t a handy shelf to “mouse” on. Other advantages of using a wall mounted computer include keeping the fan noise (which is minimal) at the other end of the room and having built in speakers for use with the videos. Although this All-In-One does not have a video out jack, you can add one using a USB/VGA converter device. This would allow you to add a second monitor to your desk, if you wish to use the All-In-One for your EMR program.
